Rimonabant Promise to Show Wonderful Results over Obesity
The use of Rimonabant as a treatment to aid obesity is receiving much interest within its users and dieticians as well. Its developers Sanofi-Aventis claim that it is also found effective in assisting smokers to quit smoking. They are currently researching to determine the possible value of Rimonabant in smoking cessation therapy. It was actually found that smokers often experience extreme hunger pangs and it has been found that Endocannabinoid system plays a critical role in body's response to tobacco dependence. Hence they claim that by inhibiting the factors responsible for activating the Endocannabinoid system, one can not only shed off extra fats but also quit smoking.
