Deadlines in Content Writing

If you are into content writing then, it is wise to work within the deadline. It is widely said that content writing and deadline go hand in hand. Thus, it won't be wrong to say that deadline is a nemesis to all content writers working in India and worldwide. It is widely said that if you are into content writing, then you should be capable enough to meet the required deadlines. As then only you can excel in your work. Once you are into hardcore content writing, automatically you'll find deadlines bombarded to you from various sources. Let's take an example:

You have an offshore client, who wants 15 articles for his website. Agreeing on his terms, you have decided to provide him the written content on an assured date. Thus, for that you have started working hard by doing extensive research and have duly completed seven articles with another three days to spare. But suddenly to your horror you receive an e-mail from your old client saying he wants five best content articles within one day. What will you do? Either you'll slog and stay up whole night, or you ask for an extension of deadline or you'll simply decline.

And not to forget that, he want that written content to be best and also duly edited. What will you do and how will you respond to this? The best solution is that asking for the deadline extension. It has been seen that at times deadline is extended in content writing. And by this way you can guarantee the quality content. And if not then it is wise to decline the content, as you want to assure your content client that you can't deliver the content on time. And the worst response is staying up whole night. As by this not only quality suffers but also the content. And in return this can also hamper your reputation in the market. Thus, the moral is that do hard work but at reducing over commitment.

Content writer should asses his or her quantity of workload and hence work according to that. Don't ever accept that work, which you think can't deliver on time. As this reflects disappointingly on your work ethic and also give dealt blow to your reputation. Furthermore, not to mention that accept only that content writing work which fits in a framework and also allows you to work more freely and honestly. A content writer should be able to set his or her own limits and be ready to say 'NO' to work.
